Back with news!

I love traveling. I love staying in new places and seeing new things. I love meeting new people. I love being able to sleep all night without a little person interrupting my sleep. I stayed with my friend Kristen who started a business a few years before I did, and has been a lot of help to me. Not only is she a great mentor, she is loads of fun and I had a great time.

However, when my plane touches down at the Salt Lake City airport, I feel relieved. I know that I'm home. And, I know that Mr. Goodmama and the kids are on their way to get me and I can't wait to see them.

It was 80 degrees in Texas, and it was 40 degrees in Utah. I didn't have a coat with me, of course and it was a shock. However, the air here is clean and clear and arid. I can see the mountains, I know where I am.

Winter came while I was gone. I woke up this morning and the view outside my bedroom window was all snow. I'd take a photo for you but it is all melted. However, according to my desktop weather widget it's 36 degrees right now. Summer is officially over!

The people who make goodmama diapers are good people. They were excited to show me their work and even dressed up for my visit! The place where they sew is clean and well kept. One employee is pregnant so the others baby her, making sure she is waited on. They all do the best work they can and they all know what they are doing. I had a little issue with something and waited until I got there to show them in person and my idea of what would fix it was not right. The person who actually does this step? She knew the way to fix it was a different way. She was right. (I told her she was too.)

One of my main purposes to visit, besides just checking in, was to do an inventory of fabric. I have some good news for you. Look what we still have!

Yes, you read that right. WE HAVE FIN FANCY! AND HAULIN'!  AND WOOF!!! 

While I was there they finished up the last of the Another Bundles and I had them shipped faster. They will probably get here on Tuesday.

Actually we have enough dots to make a bundle. Six different polka dot colors!

We also have some other new prints that I won't show you yet. Partially, this is because I didn't take a picture of them. I may have overlooked one of the new fabrics while I was writing, but for the most part the list is complete.

These prints I am listing are besides the ones that were being sewn as I was there. I did have them make the cut Haulin' while I was there, and prioritized the Fin Fancy for this coming week.

We will stock those in the store along with all our other instock prints as soon as they arrive!

I'm on a little trip to visit the wonderful women who make the goodmama diapers. While I'm here I am going to inventory all of our prints and then be able to tell you for once and for all if a print is retired, soon-to-be-retired, or not.

Stocking today, Gumball Giraffe! Is there anything cuter? I don't think so.
